Three years! A pivotal year… After three years as your ambassador, I’m more-than-ever committed, I know where we’re going. And after three years … we ARE doing it, and we’re going to keep doing it! It’s a choice. It’s a choice, to stand up for ourselves. Why? To highlight all the artistic potential in our home province! We could get away with exhibiting just any-old object… We could! But if we put a face to it, if we put all their faces to it, the faces of more than 300 men and women artisans, when we surround ourselves with the beautiful things they’ve crafted, we’re no longer just sitting with the things they’ve created, not just exhibiting their bag, pepper mills, necklaces, lamps, goose cassoulet or blackcurrant syrup. But are now honouring their creators—Stéphane, Mitouka, Samuel, Natasha and Simon, Catherine and Anne, Anicet, and many others. Showcasing “Fill-up on local fine crafts” means creating a tribute, being part of it … and STANDING UP FOR IT! We’re strongest when we do it together! “Fill-up on local fine crafts” also means: “My home is your home.”
